PORTSMOUTH — A State Police trooper and a Fish and Game officer are being credited with rescuing a bald eagle on Interstate 95 in Portsmouth this weekend.
The eagle was ѕtгᴜсk by a vehicle on the highway, according to police, who said Trooper Kevin Dobson responded along with New Hampshire Fish and Game Officer James Benvenuti, who previously earned a degree of fame for appearing on the TV show “North Woods Law.”
The officers worked together to гeѕсᴜe the bird, according to police in a Facebook post. There was no immediate update on the eagle’s condition.
