A man іdeпtіfіed as Ben Kingsley Nwashala has shared a new photo of the two-year-old girl he ꜰᴏᴜɴᴅ by the roadside in the Agbani area of Enugu State.
It was ɢᴀᴛʜᴇʀᴇᴅ that Nwashala ʀᴇsᴄᴜᴇᴅ the little girl back in June and ᴅɪsᴄʟᴏsᴇᴅ that she was given birth by a ᴍᴇɴᴛᴀʟʟʏ ᴜɴsᴛᴀʙʟᴇ woman who normally stays at a market in Agbani.
Sharing photos of the ᴍᴀʟɴᴏᴜʀɪsʜᴇᴅ girl at that time, the good sᴀᴍᴀʀɪᴛᴀɴ wrote, “I just ᴘɪᴄᴋᴇᴅ ᴜᴘ an ᴀʙᴀɴᴅᴏɴᴇᴅ 2-year-old baby by the roadside somewhere in Agbani, Enugu State.
“She was given birth to by a ᴍᴀᴅ woman who normally stays at Eke Agbani. We took her to the ᴘᴏʟɪᴄᴇ sᴛᴀᴛɪᴏɴ, and the D.P.O said we should take her home, clean her up, and bring her back tomorrow.
“I will give an ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ tomorrow. This baby has sᴜꜰꜰᴇʀᴇᴅ ᴛʀᴇᴍᴇɴᴅᴏᴜsʟʏ. She sat in that same sᴘᴏᴛ while all the rain that ꜰᴇʟʟ yesterday ʙᴀᴛᴛᴇʀᴇᴅ her. The market women didn’t do ɴᴏᴛʜɪɴɢ. I will post videos tomorrow and other ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇs.
“At the police station in Agbani, Enugu State. As of now, we’ve cleaned her up, and she’s ᴇᴀᴛɪɴɢ like someone who hasn’t ᴇᴀᴛᴇɴ since she was born. Her body is full of sᴏʀᴇs. Please, we need advice on the ᴘʀᴏᴘᴇʀ ᴅɪᴇᴛ to ꜰᴇᴇᴅ her for now. I don’t know how to take care of babies.”
