New American league Cy Young Justin Verlander and Japanese асe Kodai Senga have both been connected to New York as a possible new home.
Aside from the Mets’ асe, Verlander, Rodon and Senga are considered by many to be the best pitchers on the market this year.’
Carlos Rodon has been an All-Star for the previous two seasons, first with the Chicago White Sox in 2021, then with the San Francisco Giants last season.
He was playing at an elite level at the time and would have been a much more sensible choice than Jacob deGrom and Verlander.
Even if the New York Yankees re-sign Judge, either of the above stars could be added to the team to make another ѕeгіoᴜѕ run at a World Series title in 2023.
