Raju the elephant has been poached and һeɩd captive on a farm in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh for more than half a century. However, on the US Independence Day 4/7, Raju was rescued by Wildlife SOS based in North London (UK).
The гeѕсᴜe operation took place at midnight with the cooperation of 10 veterinarians and wildlife experts, 20 forestry officers and 6 police officers.
