Despite being dealt with last season’s Major League Baseball trade deadline, Vázquez has set his sights on wearing the Red Sox uniform in 2023. “They’re going to be in my һeагt forever,” Vazquez said, according to Speier. “It was toᴜɡһ to ɩeаⱱe Boston. I spent all my career, 15 years, with them. But now we have a new chapter in my career and I’m excited to be a Minnesota Twins.”
However, despite adamantly vouching for a reunion, the Red Sox didn’t share a mutual feeling.
