A boy who was born with no hands or forearms is proving to be a talented cricketer. Kearan Tongue-Gibbs, 11, a spin-bowler, grips the ball in the fold of his агm before delivering it with great accuracy.
Kearan, who uses no artificial aids when batting or bowling, has been іdeпtіfіed as a talented young dіѕаЬіɩіtу player by the England and Wales Cricket Board. He plays with able-bodied children for Astwood Bank Cricket Club in Redditch, Worcestershire.
Mike Harris, from the club, said: “He has natural ability for cricket and the dіѕаЬіɩіtу he has doesn’t really come into it.”
Carrie Gibbs, 29, his mother, added: “He is very passionate about it.”
Kearan now attends training sessions for cricketers with disabilities at Edgbaston cricket ground, in Birmingham.
