To further support the Elephant’s recovery, green clay was utilized to сoⱱeг the wound, providing a protective layer and aiding in the healing process. Additionally, intravenous administration of dexamethasone Hcl was administered through the ear vein to address inflammation and ensure the Elephant’s overall well-being.

As the procedure concluded, the anesthesia was safely reversed through the administration of diprenorphine, allowing the Elephant to regain consciousness and resume its normal activities. The intervention stands as a testament to the dedicated efforts of the KWS veterinary team in safeguarding the well-being of Kenya’s majestic wildlife.
